A brief list of enhancements include:
- Added initial support for UG annotation.
- Added support for reading SolidWorks 2009 parts.
- Added support to allow Exchange to read Inventor 2009 files.
- Added support for reading blanked status data from Inventor files.
- Added functionality to allow Exchange to extend a face to meet its 3D trimming.
- Allow Exchange to group faces of exploded solids when writing ddx files.
- Exchange will now write AutoCad filenames correctly in Japanese.
- Support for reading Pro/E wildfire 4 parts was added in Exchange 5.6, but omitted from the "What's New" notes.
